Melbet Registration South Korea
Melbet registration from South Korea: four sign-up methods, promo code 8G8G, choosing won and what to do straight afterwards.
It is read only at the moment the account is created — you cannot add it later. The code activates the 100% welcome bonus for South Korean players.
The full registration walkthrough for South Korean players, including exactly where promo code 8G8G goes.
Four sign-up methods
- One click. Fastest option: pick South Korea and KRW, the system generates an ID and password. Save them immediately — recovery is harder later.
- By phone. The most practical route in South Korea: an SMS code arrives and the number later serves for account recovery.
- By email. More durable long term, since your email survives a change of network provider.
- Via social networks. Quick, but access depends on a third-party account. Not recommended as your primary method.
Step by step with the code
- Open the official link from this page.
- Choose your method — phone number works best for South Korean players.
- Select South Korea and currency KRW. This matters: with a different currency, KakaoPay, Toss & bank transfer disappear from the cashier.
- Enter code 8G8G in the promo code field. If you cannot see it, tap the small "I have a promo code" link.
- Type your name exactly as it appears on your ID, character for character.
- Pick your bonus — sports or casino. You may skip and decide later.
- Save the account ID and password before closing the window.
Why the name field decides everything later
At your first withdrawal three things are cross-checked: the name on the account, your identity document, and the name registered to your KakaoPay, Toss account. Any mismatch stops the payout.
Currency is difficult to change after the first deposit, and the name cannot be changed freely at all — only by individual request to support for a genuine error.
Straight after registering
- Verify your phone or email — the bonus will not credit without it.
- Upload your documents the same day rather than waiting until you withdraw.
- Turn on two-factor authentication.
- Set a deposit limit while you are calm.
The legal position in South Korea
Online gambling is mostly prohibited except Sports Toto and Sports Proto; offshore sites are accessed by players and are subject to periodic crackdowns.
What that means in practice. This guide is informational and is not legal advice. Responsibility for complying with the laws of South Korea rests with you. The content is intended for adults aged 18 or over.
